Editing an article

Articles in Phosis give you the most options at present. You define the article title, summary/lede, description, and slug, and the article style to use when displaying the article to your site’s users.

You can also upload a hero image that will be used as the Hero Image URL field in template hydration, or click Choose From Files to open the Files & Media browser.

You enter the article’s content using the Body Editor. As you work, you can check the readability score of your content using the button in the Settings & Actions box in the top right.

How to use the Body Editor

Creating Articles

To create an article, you can click on Add… above your site tree and choose New Article, or click the add_circle to the right of any item in your site tree to add your article as a child of that item.

If the parent item is an article style, Phosis will automatically assign your new article to it via the Article Style dropdown.

You must choose an article style!

While you can save articles without choosing an article style from the dropdown (for circumstances where you might be writing content while the exact article styles are still being worked out), Phosis will return an error if you attempt to read an article that isn’t assigned to an article style.
